How to Videos – Making a green smoothie
When it comes to explaining processes, there is no better tool than “how to videos“. These powerful manuals in video form take your audience through the process of learning quickly and efficiently. “How to videos” eliminate the need of reading and understanding pages of manuals. They involve many senses in understanding and absorbing the information. While watching “how to videos”, your audience can see the process and listen to the explanation at the same time. This increases the success rate drastically! We absolutely love “how to videos” not only because they are so informative and effective, but also because they are fun to watch! If you could choose between reading a manual and watching a video, which one would you choose?
The same principal applies to cooking recipes. Today’s busy mothers don’t always have time to read through pages of cook books, like our mums use to do. They prefer watching a short demonstration on how the dish is prepared. If they can learn the process from someone qualified and fascinating, like Mrs South Africa Chane de Kock, thats even better! This fabulous lady created the Happy and Healthy Company, to teach us about the benefits of healthy living and guide us in the process of preparing healthy and delicious food on the go.
Chane de Kock wanted us to create a fun, informative promotional video for her new brand, The Happy and Healthy Company. We have used multiple camera angles to show the products in detail and the process of creating this exciting dish. The audio was recorded through a little clip-on microphone, that is very sensitive to voice, but doesn’t capture the noise of the room. We also used LED lighting, to ensure the colours are truly represented in this video.
We enjoyed filming this culinary demonstration and we are looking forward to capturing many more “how to videos” for Mrs South Africa!
