Consumer Protection Centre online video

Our team was commissioned to create an online video for Consumer Protection Centre, an online platform connected to a loyalty store card. The Consumer Protection Centre offers clients fast and easy access to qualified, experienced and highly skilled legal experts. We have created a character that represents a typical target market of the store account holder. Clarissa goes through some hardship in her life, to illustrate various situation where Consumer Protection Centre becomes useful. In this online video we portray a typical client that would need legal services, such as house transfer, assistance with unemployment or help in a legal dispute.

The goal of this online video was to illustrate the benefits of the service, but also portray the user friendly interface. The platform is available in four different languages, English, Afrikaans, Xhosa and Zulu and it is very easy to navigate. We incorporated video screen captures into the edit, to show the simplicity of the setup. The attorney associated with Consumer Protection Centre wanted to showcase how easy it is to log a claim. All the customer needs to do is to register the claim and wait for a qualified attorney to phone them back.

We enjoyed creating this project form inception. We have started by bringing in a trusted copywriter, to create a striking, informative and easy to understand copy. We then moved to storyboard, where we designed individual shots and decided how we are going to tell the story. Next step was confirming the actors and location. Filming was so much fun, as we used our industry friends to act in the film. The reason for that is to simplify licensing and obtain one model release form the actors. We all enjoyed creating this video and we hope Consumer Protection Centre gains much deserved visibility through this film.
