Launch photography – Morgenster Vintage Launch

Morgenster Wine and Olive Estate hosted their yearly Vintage Launch in May 2015. Our team captured the launch photography from this exciting function. We photographed the guests arriving, the introduction as well as the tastings. The goal of the event was to present the vintage wines from Morgenster to specialists in the wine industry. Part of the event photography was capturing the setup of the wine tasting, arranged in the actual cellar amongst the wine barrels. The guests were presented with samples of each wine, from white, through to rosé and to their famous vintage reds. Each wine was introduced by the winemaker, telling the story behind the production process and the secret of the blend. We learned so much about the effect the climate has on wine while doing the launch photography for Morgenster!

After the tasting, we captured the exciting food and wine pairing, masterfully prepared by Morgenster’s chef. The guests enjoyed fine italian-inspired food paired with the best vintage wines. The visitor had the opportunity to meet the owner of the estate, Giulio Bertrand.

Part of the launch photography was capturing the selection of wines and the food that was paired with it. There was a block of amazing Italian Parmesan, paired with crispy white wine and many more exciting culinary surprises. The industry specialists enjoyed each others company and the selection of fine wines and snacks presented by the estate. This exciting event was not only the perfect place for some quality launch photography, but also the opportunity to learn about the production process of some of the finest wines in the Cape. Since the Morgenster estate is just around the corner from us, we were delighted to do their launch photography and learn about the treasures of their cellars!
