Events Photography – Iris House Ball 2014
Every year the Iris House Children’s Foundation hosts a glamorous charity ball in one of the most beautiful hotels in Cape Town. This year’s Winter Wonderland Ball was hosted at the spectacular Table Bay Hotel. Our team was trusted to do the events photography, including portraits of the guests and the documentation of the entire event. We enjoyed capturing the distinguished guests, including Premier Helen Zille and other influential leaders and business owners. Upon arrival, the guests enthusiastically posed for portraits in front of the Iris House banner. Those images were then printed and available for purchase. The funds were donated to the Iris House Children Foundation, together with the funds from the auction held later in the evening.
The ballroom and the foyer was decorated with hundreds of irises, the flower so close to Iris House Children Foundation. The awaiting guests enjoyed cocktails and some culinary treats, including fresh oysters served by the Oyster King crew. Our events photography team captured the excitement of the arriving guests and their interactions. Once the main gala dinner started, the quests were invited into the spacious ballroom. The audience was introduced to the foundation with a short video, showcasing the history and the goals of the charity. Part of the evening was an auction, during which some fine pieces of art and craft were sold of to the generous public, to benefit little patients of Iris House Foundation.
This glamorous event was coordinated by EnOv8, one of the leaders in event management. It was a great pleasure to watch this extremely organised and responsive team! Skilfully managing the arriving guests and making sure everybody was seated at their tables. EnOv8 made this large scale party look elegant and effortless. This year’s event was a huge success for Iris House. We are excited to do the events photography for next year’s charity ball!
