Tereo School NPO in Somerset West gave us the opportunity of filming a video for their charity. They gave us the change to show the public what they do at Tereo school and why they do what they do. This project is very close to our hearts because we love giving back to the community.

What is Tereo School?

Tereo School is a religious non-profit organization established in 1999 as a school for street children and vulnerable children in the Helderberg Basin, where social/traumatic events and events that lead to formal schooling. Never dropped out of or participated in education. They provide the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. Tereo Community School provides children with an education, food, clothing and much-needed emotional support. The door is open for tereo, regardless of the child’s situation. They are ready togive these children the opportunity to receive an education that every child has a basic right to.

Why it is iportant to have a video advertising your NPO.

Videos are a great way to raise awareness for your charity or organization. And show your mission and goals and the impact of your work – show your true self. Text can be boring and too skimmed online to even read properly. Video gives the organization the right face, whether it’s an animated character or a filmed video production. It creates the personal connection and empathy that are essential to a charity’s success. When you know that your nonprofitis trying to change lives, you can’t help but communicate and influence that sentiment with your video audience. Fundraising activities with videos are more effective. Funding campaigns that include video receive four times as much funding as campaigns that don’t.
